Dr. Ossama Zein is a consultant of interventional and diagnostic radiology in armed forces hospitals, he is an experienced radiologist in all aspects of imaging-guided interventions and endovascular treatments.

He is the senior consultant of diagnostic and interventional radiology in the Egyptian Armed Forces since 2018.

He graduated from the faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University in 1988, then he received his master’s degree in diagnostic and interventional radiology from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, and his Medical Doctorate from the Faculty of Medicine, Al Azhar University in 1999.

Dr. Ossama has been a member of the Egyptian society of Radiology and nuclear medicine since 1994 and a member of the scientific board of the fellowship of Egyptian Board of Interventional radiology since 2015, also he is a member of the European Society of Minimally Invasive NeuroTherapy (ESMINT) since 2010.

He undertook his postgraduate training in Radiology at Maadi Military Hospital, then he had been to the United Kingdom on an intervention scholarship in 2002 in Guy’ St. Thomas hospital under the mentation of Prof. Dr. Andy Adam, and then followed by a neurointervention scholarship in 2009 in France in Rothschild hospital under mentation of Prof. Dr. J.Moret.

Special interests:
Hepatobiliary interventions, GIT & GU bleeding embolization, and other fluoroscopy guided procedures.
